About Stéphanie De Somer

Stéphanie De Somer is an associate professor of administrative law. Before, she held an FWO doctoral scholarship and two FWO postdoc scholarships. Her research and teaching focus on Belgian and comparative general administrative law and planning and environmental law. Within those fields, she is particularly interested in the law on administrative organization, legal protection against executive and administrative action, the status of small-scale nature in planning and environmental law and sustainable tourism. She is also a practicing lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
