About Joeri Vandendriessche

Joeri Vandendriessche is a PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp, specializing in the legal dimensions of cryptofinance for nature-based solutions in Flemish cities. His research, funded by the FWO (Research Foundation Flanders) as part of the strategic basic research program within the ‘Innofins’ project, examines the regulatory challenges and opportunities of using crypto-assets and technologies in this context, focusing on investor protection, market integrity, and financial stability. Joeri collaborates closely with stakeholders to translate his research into practical applications.
