Kitty Bouwman is working on a postdoctoral research project on Hildegard of Bingen at the Ruusbroecgenootschap of the University of Antwerp and the Titus Brandsma Institute (Radboud University). She is theologian and scholar in spirituality studies, interested in divine feminine and spiritual motherhood in relation to mystagogy. She obtained her PhD for a research on the influence of the biblical wisdom tradition in Augustine at the University of Utrecht (2015). She previously researched divine pedagogy in John of the Cross.
