I am a doctoral student in the Environmental Economics research group (Department of Engineering Management, Faculty of Business and Economics), under the supervision of Prof. Tine Compernolle, Prof. Jo Van Caneghem, and Dr. Tom Ogwang. My research focuses on the socioeconomic and environmental impacts of accepting and adopting biomass briquettes and solar cooking technologies in Southwestern Uganda. I apply methods such as Q-methodology, life cycle assessment, and contingent valuation to study the feasibility of these cooking technologies.
