Teun van Son (he/they) is a doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp. His work focuses on questions of responsibility in relation to more-than-human beings and environments. As an activist–philosopher-hybrid, he is rarely satisfied with theoretical insights alone, and always tries to involve lived experience into his thinking and vice versa. He is inspired and co-shaped in his thinking and doing by (eco)feminism, posthumanism, non-Western approaches to environmental issues, enactive cognitive science, and relational ontologies.
