Lisa Suckert works at the intersection between economic, political and cultural sociology and explores the political and social constitution of contemporary capitalism. After her PhD at the University of Bamberg, she worked as Senior Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies and was Visiting Fellow at Universität Wuppertal, the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris. Current research interests are: imagined futures and temporal orientations; dynamics of crisis; decarbonization/climate change; political discourse and nostalgia; social theory and transformation.
