Sarah Hoeck is a medical sociologist with a PhD in the medical sciences. She works as program manager of the Flemish colorectal cancer screening program at the Centre for Cancer Detection (CCD, Bruges, Belgium), since the start of the screening program in 2013. The CCD is a non-profit expertise centre, subsidized by the Flemish Ministry of Welfare, Public Health and Family to coordinate the cancer screening programs in Flanders (Belgium). She is affiliated as a post-doc researcher at the Department of Family Medicine and Population Health, Research Group Social Epidemiology and Health Policy.
