Bart Tritsmans (1985) obtained a PhD in history (University of Antwerp) and architectural engineering (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) in 2014 with a study about the historical evolution of urban green space. His research focuses on the history of urban space (green space, wastelands and architecture) in the 19th and 20th centuries. He teaches methodological courses such as Historische Oefeningen and he curated several exhibitions on contemporary and historical topics in architecture.
