Rowan Daneels (PhD) is a guest professor and postdoc researcher at UAntwerp. As a guest professor, he teaches a ‘Leeronderzoek’ (3rd Bachelor) and different master’s theses on the eudaimonic (meaningful, moving, reflective) potential of digital games. As a postdoc, he studies eudaimonic gaming, media selection and boredom, among other things. He is also a board member for DiGRA Belgium and editor for the Press Start journal. He publishes in international journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Games and Culture, and Journal of Children and Media.
