Léa Hermenault (PhD in 2017) is a Postdoctoral researcher in Archeology and History. She explores interactions between materiality, environmental contingencies and social processes on the long term. She worked as a Postdoctoral researcher for different research projects (Paris Time Machine, Oronce Fine, GIStorical Antwerp, ERC "Healthscaping Urban Europe", ...) in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. She is currently working for the "Belgian Historical Gazetteer", a CLARIAH-VL/UA project which aims to facilitate the mapping of sources and the study of the Belgium landscape over the long-term.
