Hanne Apers (she/her) is a senior researcher in the research group ‘Centre for Population, Family and Health’. Her research focuses on the intersection of migration, culture, and health. She specializes in qualitative research and has a specific interest in participatory research approaches. Currently, Hanne is involved in research in the context of the federal Community Health Workers project (www.chw-intermut.be) and coordinates the interdisciplinary research project MEDIMIG (https://www.uantwerpen.be/en/projects/medimig/medimig-research-project/).
