Jasper Segerink is postdoc at the Centre for Urban History and YUFE-coordinator for the minor Cities & Urbanisation. He defended his thesis, titled "The Lodging House and the City. Accommodating Migrants in Urban Space, Antwerp, 1850-1914". His main research interests lie at the intersections of migration, housing and urban history during the modern period. He approaches these subjects from a social perspective, through spatial and quantitative methods.
