Ysaline Reid is a PhD Researcher at the University of Antwerp specialising in EU environmental and trade governance, with a focus on the EU Deforestation-Free Products Regulation 2023/115 (EUDR). Her research examines the transnational impacts of the EUDR, with an emphasis on socio-legal changes in Brazil, particularly related to agrarian and food security issues. She holds an LL.M. from the University of Antwerp, with a specialisation in Sustainable Development and Global Justice and studied Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
