Women in Science & Engineering event
27 February 2024
Every year on 11 February, the United Nations promotes full and equal access to and participation in STEM fields with the International Day for Women and Girls in Science. Women represent half of the world’s population, and therefore, also half of its potential. However, a significant gender gap has persisted throughout scientific disciplines all over the world.
Join the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Applied Engineering for an inspiring evening to celebrate women in science and Engineering. This event is an opportunity to foster connections, share experiences and promote diversity and inclusion within the scientific community.
