The Centre of Excellence Microbial Systems Technology (MST) consolidates expertise in microbial technology and ecology at the Faculty of Science. We are an interdisciplinary group of 6 research teams across the Departments of Biology, Bioscience Engineering and Computer Science.

Our research exploits the tremendous versatility of biochemical and physiological properties of microbes to develop bio-based industrial solutions.
