Posters

Faculty Research Day - 5 February 2025

Below, you will find the guidelines for the poster presentation. You can use your poster from a previous conference or workshop. Typically, a poster is 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height) in a portrait orientation. It might consist of multiple sections, such as introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. Keep text brief, and report only key aspects of each section. Abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and explained at first use. You are encouraged to use figures and tables for clear visual representation of your results/explanation, with captions below (for figures) and above (for tables). There is no strict format for font size but ensure that your text and figures/tables are readable and of high enough quality. For better readability use sans-serif fonts (for example, Arial). Acknowledgments might also be included, with grants and funding sources. All references are indicated with numbers between square brackets (starting from [1]) ascending in the order they appear in the poster (as listed at the end of this guideline).

If you have selected to also present a pitch talk of your poster, please send your presentation (ONE SINGLE SLIDE) to Andrei.Belogaev@uantwerpen.be as a pdf file attachment with the subject: FRD poster – Your Name, by February 03, 2025. A strict time policy will be enforced for pitch talk presentations: 1 MIN. There will be no time for Q&A, because discussions can be held during the poster session. Your cooperation in adhering to the schedule is highly appreciated, as it will contribute to the event’s overall success. If you have any questions or need further assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to us by email (Andrei.Belogaev@uantwerpen.be).

Deadline: February 3, 2025
