About the Faculty Day
On Wednesday 18 September 2024, as part of the welcome week for international students, a Faculty Day will be organised for the students of our English-language programmes: Bachelor Social-Economic Sciences and Master Political Science.
It is always nice to meet new people, especially if you are an international student and you probably don't know anyone here yet! During the Faculty Day you will meet other international and Belgian fellow students from your programme in an informal setting. This way you will get to meet new friends with whom you can start the academic year together!
Master Political Science
We would like to invite the students of the Master Political Science on Wednesday 18 September 2024 from 11 AM - 1 PM, in room S.M.107 (address: Sint-Jacobstraat 2, 2000 Antwerp) - You enter the entrance hall. Then take the stairs on your right. At the first floor you go right and at the end of the hallway you will find room S.M.107.
First, programme manager Stefaan Walgrave will welcome you to the university and Master Political Science. After this, you will get to know your fellow students better during an introductory activity, followed by a walk past important places on the Stadscampus (City Campus). You will also each receive a drink voucher that you can use in the Agora Caffee, so you and the other students can end the Faculty Day together enjoying a drink.
The focus of the Faculty Day is on getting to know your fellow students. Practical information about the faculty, your programme, etc. will be given during the information session about the Master Political Science on Tuesday 24 September.
Bachelor Social-Economic Sciences
The Faculty Day for students of the Bachelor Social-Economic Sciences takes place on Wednesday 18 September 2024 from 2:30 - 4:30 PM, in room S.M.107 (address: Sint-Jacobstraat 2, 2000 Antwerp) - You enter the entrance hall. Then take the stairs on your right. At the first floor you go right and at the end of the hallway you will find room S.M.107.
We will start with a welcome activity: a kind of ‘escape game’, a card game which you will play in small groups. After that, you will each receive a drink voucher that you can use in the Agora Caffee, so you and the other students can end the afternoon together enjoying a drink.
The focus of the Faculty Day is on getting to know your fellow students. During our Welcome Day (Monday 23 September 2024) you will be expected to attend an information session with practical information about the faculty and your programme, followed by a guided tour along study-related places on the Stadscampus (City campus)(such as the library, etc.).
