In case you did not pass one or more exams at the University of Antwerp, you have two options:

-          You do NOT participate in the second examination session. 

 Instead, you take extra courses at your home university during the next semester, to make up for the missing ECTS-credits.

-          You participate in the second examination session on campus in Antwerp. 

You register for the exams you want to retake via SisA. Your personal exam schedule is published in SisA on 1 August at the latest. The Student Administration aims to publish around 20 July. You return to Antwerp for the exams.        

-          Via SisA in July (link: sisastudent.uantwerpen.be).

-          Register ONLY for the exams you wish to retake.

​We expect all students to retake their exams on campus in Antwerp. In exceptional cases you can request a remote oral or written exam, for legitimate reasons and with proof. A remote exam is never guaranteed.

-          Register for the exams you wish to retake via SisA in July (link: sisastudent.uantwerpen.be).

-          Your personal exam schedule is published in SisA on 1 August at the latest.

-          Before the deadline for reporting problems in August: request a remote exam via exchange.fsw@uantwerpen.be and include reasons and documents/proof. Distance and travel expenses are not admissible reasons to request this. Please do not contact the lecturers directly.

-          In case you were absent for the exam during the first examination session, your request will not be admissible.

-          You can take a maximum of 2 exams remotely.

-          A remote exam is a favour, not a right.

-          The Faculty decides if the request is admissible, the lecturer decides on the exam form.

-          The remote exam schedule may be less favourable for you.

-          Once you have chosen a remote exam, you cannot change this.

-          If you are not able to/ wish to take part in the remote exam which was organized for you, notify exchange.fsw@uantwerpen.be as soon as possible.
