Anne Van de Vijver is the president of Antwerp Tax Academy.
Antwerp Tax Academy's research focuses on four lines of research. Each research line is driven by a few individuals:
- the first research line "tax justice, trust and tax compliance": Anouk Decuypere and Kimberly Van Sande.
- the second research line "digitisation": Sylvie De Raedt, Alessia Tomo and David Hadwick.
- the third research line "sustainability": Tarcisio Diniz Magalhaes, Gerlinde Verbist and Sharon Waeytens.
- the fourth research line "fiscal federalism": Bruno Peeters and Karl Pauwels.
The interfaculty institute for tax science ‘Antwerp Tax Academy’ has been founded on 20 November 2012 and results from a co-operation between the faculties and institutes listed below:
- Law
- Arts
- Business and Economics
- Social Sciences
- Science (department of computer science)
- Institute of Development studies
- Antwerp Management School
Our members work in various research units and departments in University of Antwerp faculties and at the Antwerp Management School. The faculty of science (department of mathematics and computer science) and the Institute of Development studies
