From the academic year 2024-2025, Linguapolis will offer a new, free initiative: ACE (Academic English language support for UAntwerp students).
ACE helps UAntwerp students improve their academic skills in English. Using practical tips, examples and exercises, ACE students learn to write, present, read and listen better.
International students can attend these ACE workshops to improve their academic skills, just as they can join the (Online) Writing Week to work on their thesis with other students. This ACE offer is similar to that of Monitoraat op Maat - Academic Dutch (MoM), but with English as the language of instruction, ACE is aimed at international students.
In addition, all students can attend ACE language workshops to work on their English vocabulary, grammar and style to improve the quality of their academic writing and presentations. All students also have access to the ACE self-study package on Blackboard.
