Professional Communication is a programme component within the bridging programme for the Master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy. Two modules provided by Linguapolis were added this academic year, making the number of credits double from three to six.
This involved the Academic English course, which had previously been aimed only at third-year bachelor students, being added to the programme component.
The Dutch as a foreign language course, which had been an elective course since 2021, was also added. This is a beginners' course, focusing on language needed to talk to patients during internships. Starting this year the considerable effort put into acquiring a new language will also be rewarded with credits.
