What is an Online Language Café?
- Language learners meet online for one hour once a week for a semester.
- In a relaxed atmosphere and fixed group, you will have conversations about your country’s culture, current affairs and society.
- There is no homework or exam.
What does a café coach do?
- You will coach ten 1-hour sessions from March 2024 to June 2024.
- Using fun themes, you create opportunities for language learners to practise speaking.
- You prepare for the Online Language Café each week using an extensive database of topics.
Who can become a café coach?
- You are a native speaker of Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish or Turkish.
- You are passionate about your native language and culture.
- You want to volunteer an hour each week to share this passion.
