Application procedure

Fill out the correct application form before 1 March 2025, depending on where you will study after the Prep Year.

UAntwerpen

• ​As a bachelor student: Please fill out this form. Be sure to read all admission criteria before you apply for a bachelor at UAntwerpen first.
• As a master student: Please fill out this form. Be sure to read all admission criteria before you apply for a master at UAntwerpen first.

Artesis Plantijn (AP) University College

Please fill out this form.

Karel de Grote (KdG) University College

Please fill out this form.

Any other Flemish university or university college 

If you want to continue your studies at another Flemish university or university college than UAntwerpen, AP University College or KdG University College, you first have to separately fill out an application form for the Linguapolis Prep Year.

After this, you will have to fill out a second application form for the actual studies that you will take after the Prep Year on the website of the institution that offers these studies.

Pay the advance fee of € 2 000 before 15 April 2025.

After we have received the advance fee, your application will be evaluated. You will be contacted by email if there are any documents missing.

We will schedule a 15 to 20 minute video call in which we test:

• your level of English
• your familiarity with the programme
• your motivation
  

If the interview went well, you have to provide legalised documents.

Legalised documents need to be submitted by post before the deadline of  31 May 2025.

You will receive a Letter of Acceptance upon a positive evaluation. You will need two Letters of Acceptance, one by Linguapolis, one by the institute that you’re applying for.

These are:

• your formal invitation to the programme.
  
• required for a student visa application.
  

Pay the balance of the tuition fee, which is € 4 625, before 15 September 2025.

The Dutch Prep Year starts on 15 September 2025. Be sure to be here on time for the start of the programme. For more information on social facilities, student housing, student restaurants, sports, etc., check the website of UAntwerp.

The Letter of Admission will be issued once:

• you have paid the complete tuition fee.
• you have provided us with a colour copy of your student visa, with passport stamp.
• you have arrived in Belgium and have a Belgian address.
