Tuesday 30 October: Global warming as a Threat to Developing Countries
Kristof Cuadros Perez is an Engineer in Environmental Science. He created the Climate Response project with the aim of informing as large an audience as possible about scientific knowledge about climate change.
Please note that the content and schedule of the debate of 30 October has slightly changed. Because of an opportunity to work together with UCSIA (another affiliation of University of Antwerp), we decided to join forces, and bring three speakers together for a panel discussion on the impact of climate change on the global South and the individual choices we can make.
- Title: Global warming as a Threat to Developing Countries
- Hour: from 6 to 8 PM
- Location: Rodestraat 14, R.002 (City Campus)
Kristof Cuadros Perez of Climate Response is part of the panel, and will talk about individual choices. Other speakers are:
- Gaël Giraud, Chief Economist, Agence Française de Développement
- Stefaan Vergote, Directorate-General Climate Action (European Commission)
You don’t have to register again. The session still counts as one of our 8 debates for which you can obtain a certificate of attendance.
We hope to see you on Tuesday. It will be a very rich debate, which goes to the core of this years’ Debating Development overall topic.
