The programme is designed for an international and multidisciplinary audience. It suits individuals, professionals and students in developing their knowledge, skills and professional career.
The course attracts a broad audience, from non-technical scholars to certified engineers, who are all eager to explore new perspectives and approaches for addressing energy and climate issues. The diversity of the audience has proven to be a significant factor of learning, widening scope and enhancing capabilities.
We welcome candidates from universities, research institutions, public institutions and private companies.

- Full programme of 30 credits
- Five course units, each worth 6 credits.
- Focus on climate change (societal) challenges, renewable energy and energy solutions.
- Applied component analyzes activities of different sectors for their sustainable transition, mitigation, and adaptation strategies.
Assessment:
- Evaluation via multiple-choice exams.
Course Structure:
- Approximately 60 lectures, 2-3 hours each.
- Taught in English; materials provided in English.
Schedule:
- Lectures: Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- No classes during Belgian school holidays (autumn, Christmas, spring, Easter, and summer breaks).
