USOS | Workshop | Ahmad Faraz
4 March | 11:00-16:00 (lunch included)
This dynamic and participatory four-hour workshop invites participants to explore the role of men and masculinities in advancing gender justice. Through engaging discussions, real-world case studies, and interactive exercises, the session unpacks how social norms around masculinity influence power, privilege, and inequality. Participants will reflect on the impact of masculine norms on themselves and society and learn how positive masculinity can be harnessed to promote fairness and inclusivity.
The workshop emphasizes practical strategies for fostering gender-equitable spaces and encourages participants to take personal and collective action. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of their roles in creating a more just society and a personal action plan to challenge inequities and champion gender justice in their communities and workplaces.
