USOS - AYO - Congolese Kring | The Afro-European: panel discussion on the home of African diaspora in Europe

With The Afro-European, television makers Ikenna Azuike and Soraya Pol make a quest for the home of African diaspora in Europe. During this evening, the television makers show four fragments, each with its own message. About connecting with your roots, raising children in a bi-cultural environment and giving meaning to being black. Afterwards, Will-Limba Moleka and members of African Youth Organisation (AYO) and Congolese Kring talk about how they work on these themes in Antwerp and, by extension, Flanders. Finally, the audience will have the chance to interact in smaller groups about the themes.
This evening is a celebration of African culture. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting evening. University of Antwerp will offer African snacks during the reception.
The event is the result of a collaboration between USOS, AYO and Congolese Kring.
