Programme
This lecture focuses on the role of the International Criminal Court in contemporary conflicts. Chris(tine) Van den Wyngaert, a former judge at the International Criminal Court, will explain how the Court works and provide further interpretation on a number of contemporary conflicts. For example, he will explain South Africa's case against Israel and the arrest warrants issued against several world leaders and suspects.
