A quick bite
- Maison Tartine, Minderbroedersrui 60 (very near Campus): All-day-Breakfast-Brunch-Lunch-cakes-Homemade iced teas.
- Take away Kool & Zo, Prinsstraat 40 (across the main entrance of Stadscampus): healthy salads.
- Café/bistro Zeppos, Vleminckveld 78: located near the Mechelseplein and the ideal retreat for shoppers, sunbathers (nice terrace in summer) and no-nonsense food lovers.
Elaborate lunch/diner
- Bourla, Graanmarkt 7 (city center), houses in a majestic building on the even more spectacular Graanmarkt. Young and old, artists, shoppers and theatregoers … everyone feels at home here in this Parisian like place.
- Restaurant aan de Stroom RAS (Ernest Van Dijckkaai 37), designed by Flemish master architect bOb Van Reeth – very spectacular and stylish spot, overlooking the river Schelde.
- New place: Fiera: Near Handelsbeurs and very near Stadscampus (Lange Nieuwstraat 14) - houses in a magical building, once the Schippersbeurs and Handelsbeurs in Antwerp.
- Camino (Muntstraat 4), an Asian culinary tour.
- Grandcafé Horta (Hopland 2): In the heart of the shopping district. The iron trusses of the former "Volkshuis" (design by Victor Horta) in Brussels were updated and given a new life as the room's structure.
(Historical) pubs
- Oud Arsenaal, Maria Pijpelinckxstraat 4 (near Theater Square): typical Belgian pub, where both locals and tourists are welcome. Recommended: Troubadour Blond
- Paters Vaetje, Blauwmoezelstraat 1 (near the Cathedral): they offer a great selection of beers, and the pub is open late. You can also eat something small. Recommended: Troubadour Magma or Jack's Precious IPA
- Pelgrom, Pelgrimstraat 15 (in the old city centre, you have a beautiful view on the Cathedral in this street). The pub itself is underground, in medieval cellars, very unique to visit and they have over 20 beers on tap! And you can eat more extensively. Recommended: Troubadour
- Boer van Tienen, Mechelseplein 6. One of the most famous cafes in Antwerp. Especially known to Antwerp culture lovers.
