As part of Climate Week, the faculty of Social Sciences and Prof. Peter Bursens are pleased to host Sara Matthieu, Member of the European Parliament, for a special lecture.
Serving on the EP’s Environmental Committee, Sara will share her insights into how the European Parliament shapes EU legislation on environmental protection and climate action. She will also address the key priorities of the new European Commission and discuss some of the most pressing legislative proposals currently on the agenda.
This lecture is part of the European Integration course (Bachelor Political Science and Social and Economic Sciences), offering a unique opportunity to learn about the legislative process driving Europe's climate policies.
