The model for the YUFE Challenge Teams is outstanding and unique where a team is built around students, researchers, public and private experts and citizens who will deliver solutions with and for our citizens through a bottom-up model.

YUFE challenges you to sign up for this three-month journey that will take place from November 2024 till January 2025

This year's challenges:

  • Fostering impact and inclusive leaders: Crafting a guide for organisations and institutions to make an impact on society 2024-25
Diversity is a well-known topic in business management. However, little is known about inclusion and the importance of managers to act as inclusive leaders. Talent and human capital are the most precious resources for an organization: the diversity of ideas and ways of thinking promote innovation in organizations, better performance and results and societal impact.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation solutions
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is often a complex and cumbersome process for both public and private organizations in the education sector. The challenge is to develop technological solutions that can seamlessly and continuously assess theimpact of initiatives and programs to inform ongoing improvements and promote efficient resource utilization.

  • Strengthening of philantropic activity among generation Z
This challenge is essential for boosting the development of a society by increasing the number of people who are willing to invest their time and money for the benefit of others. Current data shows that many European countries lag behind the world average in philanthropic behavior. However, members of Generation Z, known for their open-mindedness and inclusiveness, can be pivotal.
