Bachelor
During the first two bachelor years, you will study basic sciences in general. You will acquire a well-grounded knowledge, which connects to the various specialisations in the third year.
From your third bachelor, you can choose between four majors in which you acquire the knowledge needed to get you to specialise. In each of these majors, the typical engineering aspects will be reviewed.
- Cell and gene biotechnology: manipulation of cells, tissues and molecules
- Chemistry and food technology: photocatalysis, nutrition, reactors, sustainable energy and many other chemical engineering aspects
- Land and forest management: sustainable use of land, space and our forests
- Environmental technology: how to contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable world?
The programme of the bachelor, including that of these specialisations is arranged in such a way that you can start your master's education (the last two years of the Bioscience Engineering education programme) without problems.
All further information on the bachelor is available through the education fiche Bachelor of Bioscience Engineering.
