Welcome to the University of Antwerp
Your faculty or the department will give you a warm welcome and will guide you during your first days.
An HR officer from the Human Resources Department will be assigned to follow up your personal file. Your HR officer will contact you to sign your contract and inform you how to receive your employee card. Furthermore he or she will provide you with practical information related to working at the University of Antwerp.
In addition, you will be assigned a payroll officer who can help you directly with questions about your salary, holiday payment, year-end bonus, eco vouchers and so on.
Welcome sessions
On our Pintra webpage (intranet) you can find our welcome session videos. During these short online sessions the International Staff Office provides practical information (HR-related and other) about working and living in Belgium.
MONDO
MONDO aims to create a social network for foreign staff members, PhD and degree students and their family members. We want to strengthen social cohesion at our university and help all foreign students and staff become more better acquainted with the country in which they live and work by undertaking activities together.
