Once you have been offered a position at the University of Antwerp, there are certain immigration procedures you need to follow before coming to Belgium.
Your nationality, the type of employment at the University of Antwerp and the planned length of your stay will determine which immigration formalities need to be fulfilled to be able to work and live in Belgium.
As soon as your employment has been formally approved, the HR Department will contact you to request some documents to complete your HR file and to inform you about the immigration formalities.
