How to apply for a room in a university residence?
How to apply
Incoming students will automatically receive a message with more information on housing and how to apply for a residence once their application in Mobility Online, for their exchange at UAntwerpen, has been accepted.
Please keep in mind that the demand is often larger than the offer, so applying does not guarantee a stay in one of our residences.
How does the allocation process work?
When assigning the rooms in our university residences, the demand is always larger than the offer. Therefore, a selection must be made. There is no 'first come, first served' principle, so the time at which you apply for a room does not affect your chances of staying at a residence. In order to give as many different students as possible a chance to stay in our residences, the university selects students with the sole purpose of making a mix that is as diverse as possible.
Diversity is found in mixing as many different home universities, fields of study and faculties as possible.
