The University Archives is the memory of the university. We preserve the historical archives of the University of Antwerp and its predecessors (Colleges of Commerce, RUCA, UFSIA, UIA, Colonial College, etc.). The archives or personal papers of academics, research groups, student clubs and other people/organisations linked to the university can be included as well.
The University Archives offers support to the faculties and departments for archival and records management . The university aims to develop a modern information management. We are helping to implement this policy and to ensure that existing records and archives, both analogue and digital, are maintained, appraised and stored in a professional way.
