This lounge seminar investigates the recent turn to the teachings of the apostle Paul among contemporary thinkers, particularly in the work of the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben. It explores the manifestations and consequences of this phenomenon and probes its effect on Agamben’s reading of major German-Jewish authors and thinkers such as Franz Kafka, Walter Benjamin and Paul Celan.
