Brief biography: I am Md Asif Khan Setu from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, followed by Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Joensuu. I also worked as an International Research Student at the Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Japan. I developed a great interest in Imaging, Image Processing and Machine Learning during my master study; that is why my master’s thesis was in the multispectral imaging and machine learning techniques and the research was done with the collaboration between Computational Spectral Imaging Laboratory at UEF, Finland and Visual Perception And Cognition Laboratory (VPAC) at TUT, Japan. My main research interests are in imaging and image processing, data analysis and machine learning. Beside this, I have worked as a Software Engineer in a multinational data driven company, IMS Health with a great emphasis on data analysis.
