Brief biography: Pharmacists can play a vital role in a drug research team, as drug discovery requires knowledge of various fields. Having natural product chemistry as starting point, my research interest expanded towards the purification of semisynthetic molecules at the University Paris-Descartes during my MPharm, and a bioguided chemical study of microorganisms at the University of Athens during my MSc. Also, I had the chance to work in Demo SA as a formulation scientist. All these experiences allowed me to gain skills in extraction and analytical techniques, biological evaluation and formulation development.
