With the achievements of decades of work on epidemiology, vaccines and test development, clinical trials, and new screening tools coming into public health and clinical use, the past years have been an exciting time for the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) prevention community.
Because of the availability of techniques that facilitate access to prevention, screening and treatment, we believe that the independent international multidisciplinary HPV Prevention and Control Board of the top experts is a great added value in the field. Experts who provide evidence-based reflection and guidance on strategic, technical, and policy issues that will occur as we move forward in the implementation of HPV control and prevention programs.
The HPV Board assists in the monitoring and evaluation of national and regional control programs in support of international organizations such as World Health Organization (WHO), Centre for Disease Control (CDC), and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.
