Meeting Objectives:

One of the main objectives of the symposium is to create an HPV community in the global south by engaging countries at different levels of HPV vaccination program introduction to:

  • Share experiences and lessons learned
  • Discuss evidence-based policies and program implementation in and across countries
  • Contribute to  the research agenda to accelerate progress in HPV vaccine introduction, access, program optimization, restoration, and sustainability
  • Discuss new developments in the field and health models that can be integrated with HPV vaccination programs
  • Provide updated information on available data on HPV vaccine evaluation including schedules
  • Discuss integration of HPV vaccination programs with adolescent health services.
