Corporate contributions in connection with CSR
In this case, we want to appeal to companies, based on their presence and activity in the city, to contribute to its climate-robust development. This by offering them the opportunity to contribute to nature based solutions of (the City of) Antwerp as part of their active corporate social responsibility policy. Among other things, arguments can be found in view of competitive advantages, good reputation, employee loyalty, customer satisfaction, etc. Recent studies further show that from a corporate social responsibility point of view, local impact yields more (in terms of shareholder value and business results) than more general projects. For transparency and to reduce transaction costs, distributed legder technology, or blockchain, is used.
