IQ-BRAIN proposes a unique research and training programme that tackles the urgent need for accelerated and improved, trustworthy AI-supported quantitative MRI (qMRI) technology for neuroimaging applications.
By integrating both state-of-the-art physics-based qMRI methods and cutting-edge Deep Learning methods, we will develop fast as well as trustworthy qMRI techniques that will convince clinicians to finally deploy qMRI in their daily practice.
The project will be implemented by leading consortium of universities, hospitals and industry partners.
Through a dedicated doctoral training programme, IQ-BRAIN will prepare the next generation of qMRI specialists trained in the different aspects of the qMRI-neuroimaging pipeline, that can bridge the gap between qMRI method development and clinical need.
The research programme consists of 16 individual projects for doctoral candidates, which are aligned with the objectives of three interconnected scientific work packages.
