Zurenborg is like a village, situated around the Dageraadplaats. Zurenborg is also a residential area known for its Cogels-Osylei. Together they form a unique ensemble that has been planned and laid out with a lot care. You will find the most diverse architectural styles and exceptional spatial qualities, despite the speculative purposes at the time of construction. Throughout its history, this district was sometimes valued negatively, has experienced a few critical moments but fortunately it survived. The district is now very much in demand for living and entertainment. We strolled along the 19th century façades in search of what inspired builders and enjoy the lively atmospere on today's squares.
