In terms of research, STRATEGO aims to develop a joint research agenda on sustainability, trust and European multi-level governance with the purpose of generating knowledge and insights in support of EU policymaking. The objective is to facilitate joint research, share findings, produce joint academic publications and generate new research projects.
STRATEGO will concentrate on facilitating cooperation among the disciplines of the Centre (law, social science, economics, biology, health and medicine) on the theme of trust and legitimacy in EU multi-level governance. STRATEGO will organise seminars with senior and junior researchers with a specific focus on disciplines for which trust in and between actors in the EU is relevant but that would normally not focus on the study of inter-actor trust (climate, biology and health). At the same time, a range of open events will be organised to facilitate joint research efforts.
STRATEGO’s achievement indicators for its research agenda will focus on the facilitation of interdisciplinary collaboration and research exchanges among STRATEGO’s partners and with international researchers. Achievement indicators include several research and lunch seminars, PhD masterclass and visiting scholars.
