Profile picture
As a university, we are active on various social media. Our recognisability and thus our profile picture (or avatar) is important on these platforms. We use the 'U' without text, neatly aligned in the circle.

Each faculty has a profile picture in the approved faculty colour.

These files are custom made, to ensure the 'U' is always centralised, with the same margins. The files are available via Canva.
Note: this logo was created specifically for social media. In other applications, we use the full logo.
Profile name
Our community becomes stronger when we communicate consistently. This is why all page names follow the same pattern, as in the example below:
- Facebook: UAntwerp - Faculty of Business and Economics
- Instagram @uantwerpenfbe
On Pintra, you'll find more info and our social media policy.
Templates for social media
Templates for social media
We use the Canva graphic design platform for all our social media assets. The social media templates are available in the folder Projecten > UAntwerpen templates > Social media.
Please note that only Canva PRO users have access to these templates. By default, every faculty and department has a Canva PRO account. If you are looking for the colleague who manages the PRO account for your department or faculty, or if you want to request a Canva PRO account for yourself, please contact social.media@uantwerpen.be.
Examples of social media templates
- 1:1 for posts in the feed
- 4:5 for posts in the feed or ads
- 9:16 for Instagram/Facebook Stories and reels, or TikTok videos
- 16:9 for Facebook banners, LinkedIn posts or YouTube thumbnails
There are multiple templates available for LinkedIn, Facebook Events, etc.
Applying a faculty-specific colour to a template
By default, all templates use the standard UAntwerp red. To change the colour to your faculty-specific colour, click on the area you want to change. Click on 'Color' at the top left, and select your faculty's colour under 'New House Style Colours'. The colour is now applied to the template.
