In our download packages, you will find different file types (PNG, JPG, EPS, SVG), colour options (RGB, CMYK, WHITE) and positive and negative logos. When do you use which file type?

EPS, PNG, JPG and SVG

EPS

This file type is a vector image. That means that you can enlarge it as much as you want, without losing quality. EPS files are used in graphic design programmes, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. When you work with external partners for graphic design, you provide them with this file type.

PNG

This is the most commonly used file type and can be imported into almost all programmes (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint...). A PNG file can have a transparent background. Note: the logo consists of pixels. Do not enlarge it too much, as this would lead to loss of quality.

JPG

This file type can also be imported into most programmes, but transparency is not possible. JPG files are often used for websites.

SVG

This file type is an encoded vector image, which can be used in Adobe Illustrator. It can also be incorporated into a website. You can enlarge this logo without loss of quality.

CMYK, RGB, Pantone, ...

CMYK

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black. This file is used specifically for printing in four colours (quadri), offset and digital.

RGB

Red, Green, Blue. Suitable for when, for example, the logo is shown on screens.

PANTONE

We no longer offer these file types as part of the standard package (Adobe no longer supports Pantone). However, you can request them. They are used for printing in one or two colours.

Negative logo

If the abbreviation ‘NEG’ is included in the file name, it means that the text is white, but the square and the stripe are still in colour. Preferably, use this logo instead of the all-white logo. This logo is closer to the original logo because of the red colour and is therefore more recognisable.

WHITE

White logo with transparent background. You can use this logo on a photo or coloured background. The white logo is especially useful when working in a partnership. However, the negative logo is preferred.
