Apart from the main logo, there are also logos for UAntwerp's faculties, research groups and institutes. Study programmes and chairs do not have their own logo.
These subsidiary logos consist of the ‘U’, the colour of which depends on the faculty the research group or institute is affiliated with. Institutes not attached to a specific faculty use the main colour red in their logo. Exceptions have been made in the past, but are no longer possible. New designs will use the main colour.
The first line of the text is reserved for ‘Universiteit Antwerpen’. The name of the faculty, research group or institute will appear on two indented lines. The narrow font (condensed) allows for more text in the logo.

Not only faculties have their own official subsidiary logo, but research groups, institutes, departments, excellence centres and IOF consortia have one as well.
