Every year on 11 February, the United Nations promotes full and equal access to and participation in STEM fields with the International Day for Women and Girls in Science. A truly innovative and thriving scientific community benefits from the talents of people of all backgrounds, yet significant gaps in representation and opportunity still persist.
By organising events and sharing stories of our female scientists and engineers, The Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Applied Engineering are committed to inspire change, celebrate achievements, and create inclusive opportunities for everyone to excel in STEM.
