The Women Water Watch (wWw) project is an EU funded action research citizen science project.

The project 

• works with women monitor teams
• to faciliate water knowledge co-creation and dissemination
• aims to give women a voice in water resource management
• experiments with different instruments (radio, games, murals, flags, open source data portals, …) to stimulate use of information by various stakeholders

• engages with primary school children as junior citizen scientists
• in five villages in the Bagamoyo coastal region of Tanzania
